Service changes
Arbium changes regularly. Most changes are routine and need nothing from you. Some can affect the security, availability, or confidentiality of the service, and this page explains how we tell you about those.
What we notify
Section titled “What we notify”We notify customers directly about a change when it does any of the following:
- Changes how the service authenticates people or what they can reach.
- Changes where data is stored, how long it is kept, or who can access it.
- Adds or removes a third party that handles customer data.
- Requires an action from your administrators to stay supported.
- Causes planned downtime, or degrades availability for a sustained period.
Routine changes — fixes, performance work, and interface adjustments that do none of the above — appear in release notes rather than a direct notification.
How and when
Section titled “How and when”| Change | How you hear about it | When |
|---|---|---|
| Planned maintenance with expected downtime | Email to your named administrators | At least 5 business days ahead |
| Change to authentication, access, data location, retention, or subprocessors | Email to your named administrators | At least 10 business days ahead |
| Unplanned outage or degraded service | Email to your named administrators | While it is ongoing, then a written follow-up once resolved |
| Confirmed security incident affecting your data | Email to your named administrators, and any notification required by contract or law | Without undue delay |
| Everything else | Release notes | With the release |
“Named administrators” are the contacts you give us for your organization. Keep them current — email us at help@arbium.ai to change them, since these are the only addresses we use for the notifications above.
Self-managed deployments
Section titled “Self-managed deployments”If you run Arbium in your own cloud, you control when a new version is applied. We publish each release and tell you what it contains and whether it needs any action from you; you decide when to upgrade. Security fixes are flagged as such so you can prioritise them.
Reporting a problem
Section titled “Reporting a problem”If you see something that looks like a security or availability failure, please tell us — see arbium.ai/security for where to send it.
